Saber was a sweet and affectionate 7-year-old white, brown, and black tabby who loved playing, snuggling, and any and all food. He was born on September 28th, 2018, adopted at the MSPCA Angell Adoption Center in Boston on February 24th, 2023, and passed on February 21st, 2026. He also lived with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which thickened the left ventricular wall of his heart. For Saber, this caused issues with blood clotting, fluid in his lungs and around his heart, and his heart not being able to contract fully the way it was supposed to. For the past 3 years, he's seen a cardiology specialist at MSPCA Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston to manage his condition, but unfortunately Saber's condition recently rapidly worsened, and eventually led to the extremely difficult decision to proceed with euthanasia.
Saber was loved and will never be forgotten. If you’re in a position to do so, please donate to your local animal shelter, animal hospital, or more specifically, the MSPCA in honor of Saber.
